So many of our alumni keep in touch with us and share updates from their personal and professional life. In June, we celebrated the success of alumna Dr Rosemary Coogan (Mphys in Physics & Astronomy 2009-13; MSc in Physics, 2014-16; University College), who has spent the last six months training at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. Rosemary was selected by the European Space Agency from over 22,000 applicants to become a new astronaut and the aim is to get her to the International Space Station by 2030.
